The 1958 film "Manhunt in the Jungle" is about an expedition into Brazil's Mato Grosso jungle to locate a missing pilot and a lost city.

British Naval Commander George M. Dyott (Robin Hughes) takes a group of men in 1928 to find the missing British explorer Percy Fawcett. Fawcett had been looking for the famous "Lost City of Z" and disappeared in 1926.

At one point the group encounters a giant anaconda snake and pose with it. Later the men enjoy a dice game with actual Brazilian coins.
