Prohibition agents bring Al Capone to trial and find henchman's silver coins

The 1987 film "The Untouchables" is set in early 1930's Chicago where gangster chief Al Capone supplies illegal liquor and vice for Chicago. Bureau of Prohibition agent Eliot Ness (Kevin Costner) is tasked with putting Capone out of business.
 
Ness recruits Irish-American police officer Jimmy Malone (Sean Connery) to assist him. Federal tax agents join the group and eventually Al Capone is tried in Federal Court on tax evasion charges.
 
At the trial Capone's henchman Frank Nitti (Billy Drago) visits the trial and is searched by the court bailiff who finds a matchbook and some coins which are placed on a table.

The coins are a United States silver Walking Liberty half dollar, a Standing Liberty quarter, and a Liberty Head or "Mercury" dime.
