Marsh's Free Museum of Long Beach, Washington made these items as souvenirs and for advertising. The token is not dated, but is probably from the 1970's.
 
"Jake the Alligator Man" is a well known sideshow and carnival exhibit who has appeared in various places under various names.
 
Promoter P. T. Barnum exhibiting one in 1842 which he called the "Fiji Mermaid" or "Feejee Mermaid."
